Whaling stopped in Australia after a community campaign in the 1970s. One group of self proclaimed scruffy hippies took the battle to sea off Western Australia. Those who hunted the sperm whales of the Southern Ocean fought back. Their jobs were at stake. This is the story of that battle and the stories of the main characters involved.
